“The first thing in the morning, early as you can get off the ground. That’s the best time and nicest time to fly. Pretty much everybody who works here either does farm or wanted to farm. A lot of us have an interest in aviation, and it’s the closest you can get to farming without farming. My name is Rob Aslesen, with Airborne Customer Spraying in Halstead, Minnesota and Hillsboro, North Dakota.”

“We are a full service agriculture retail that our primary focus is aerial application. We also offer ground spraying, chemical sales, and we’re Pioneer Seed dealer. I like the ease of the Razor Tracking platform. Right now you’ll see that we have five pieces of equipment sitting at our home facilities. We have a couple of airplanes and a few ground machines. And then the other dynamic that I was talking about that I use with our planes. We can look and see what the fields they are spraying. Here’s one airplane in particular. and what he did yesterday. We were kind of fighting rain showers. So he didn’t fly a whole lot. But you can see where he was and what he did during his time in the air.”

“My favorite part is the safety. And the first and foremost is the current tracking, right. We can either watch all the vehicles that we have or we can just do individual vehicles. We use that to make sure the airplanes are moving and there’s no stoppage. It’s a safety thing. And we can get first responders to where they need to be, or we can get out to an airplane, if it if the dot stops moving, if you will.”

“Rebecca uses it for the pilots to help plan their lunches. She knows they’re going to be back in 20 minutes, so she’ll make sure that they have lunch ready for them when they’re in here between loads. And so we use it for a lot of different things.”

BEN HILDE – Precision Ag Specialist

“My name is Ben Hilde. I’m a Precision Ag Specialist for Airborne Custom Spraying. We make our maps in the mornings or the night before, and we send everybody in every direction they need to go. We’re running three airplanes, up to four ground rigs. Logistics are pretty big in our operations. We’re always tracking where the pilots are every day. “This is really beneficial when you start working with the ground rigs, because you can see where they’re at or if they’re on their way home and they’re working a long ways off base.

It helps you for timing. Timing is the most important chemistry in this business. We appreciate Razor Tracking. The Razor Tracking guys have been great for us to work.
